Pocket+Center
Introduction
The Pocket+Center center is a scaled down and re-engineered Tech+Center interface for the Pocket PC devices running a Pocket Browser. This component allows remote Pocket PC users to log into the Web+Center application as a technician and perform most of the important tech functions such as customer searches, updates, and case tracking, management, and other calendar functions. This allows for real-time remote access to the Web+Center application with a handheld device.

The Pocket+Center is only compatible with Web+Center 4.0 installations.
Pocket+Center Features:
- Web-Based Interface - Scaled down Tech+Center application to be easily navigated on a Pocket PC sized browser.
- Customer Database - Create, update, and search customer records.
- Asset Management Database - Create, update, and log cases for particular equipment.
- Case Record Database - Create, update, track and manage and search case records.
- Multi-Criteria Case Search - Perform complex case record searches without a knowledge of SQL.
- Integrated Email - Customers receive automatic email notification to confirm the opening of new cases, as well as other selected events. Tech support staff can conveniently email case reports to customers, and customers can conveniently find case reports in the DB and have them emailed.
- Security - User-Id/Password security to prevent un-authorized access to site and database, as well as other additional security features.
- Calendar Scheduler - A complete group event calendar and scheduler.
- Internationalization - All of the label text can now be completely internationalized for use in any language.
Server Hardware and Software Requirements:
- Server requires Windows 2000 Server/Professional or XP
- Databases Supported: MS Access or MS SQL Server 7.0/SQL 2000 (Required Access Drivers Installed with Windows OS by default)
- 120MHz Pentium PC (or faster)
- 64 Mbytes RAM (or more)
- 2.0 GB hard drive (or more for large DBs)
- Initial installation requires about 12 MB of disk
- MS Internet Information Server (ISS Webserver) or Personal Web Server
- Internet/Intranet Connection
