High Score in BrainBench Project Management 2005 Open Contest
During 10/05 ~ 2/06, BrainBench conducted an open contest of Project Management test based on the latest release of PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK 3rd Edition). Our project director Mr. K.K. Chan scored 94% - the 4th place among contestants from 150 countries; and among the Chinese contestants he was the only contestant that can be enlisted in the Worldwide Top 50 chart. He got a Master certificate of PM2005 from BrainBench.

Release of EDI LabManager
We are glad to announce that a system designed for the automation of laboratories. LabManager is feature rich and good at the management of test plans, test items, appointments, test income, and issue of test reports. The system can be run on network and is capable to print labels for the test tubs and address labels so as to streamline the check-it check-out process.

We're Moving Up!
To cope with the expansion of our business, we will move to our new office on 30/7/2005.
From August 1, 2005 our new address will be:
2601-02 Asia Trade Centre, 79 Lei Muk Road, Hong Kong.
The new office is located at the same building of our existing office. All of our communication systems, including telephone, fax, email, website, DNS, IP address remain unchanged.
During our removal on Saturday, our servers will have an interruptive period for 30 minutes from 12:00 ~ 12:30pm. We’ll keep the interruptive time minimal, and apologize for any inconveniency that may caused.

Phase 1 of Campus Network Improvement Project for NP2C Begins
Agreement has been made with Ning Po No.2 College to provide independent professional advice and technical services on the improvement of their network system and IT operation. We've completed an independent assessment and recommendation to the top management of the school at the end of last year. In the summer vacation it is the best time to implement our suggested actions including system migration to Windows 2003 server, user migration, and configuration of network devices. The Phase 1 (System Planning) and Phase 2 (Foundation Improvement) of the project will be completed in Qtr 3, 2005. Phase 3 (Operation Improvement) is scheduled in Qtr 4; and Phase 4 (Preventive Maintenance) is scheduled in Qtr 1-2, 2006.

HRM System for the Welfare Department of CRC-HK Synod
Agreement has been made with the Welfare Department of Chinese Rhenish Church to development a Human Resource Management and Payroll System. The objectives of the project is to automate the HRM & payroll tasks for the 14 welfare units around HK, and to support a data warehouse for the base of executive decisions and forecast. It is a technology transfer project. The client will then adapt Alpha 5 version 6 as their primary tools to manage their data warehouse and management reports. The project will be completed by December 2005.
